Edith Pauline Jones, 101, passed away on May 02, 2023 at 11:25pm in Olympia, WA. Edith was born on June 21, 1921 in Tacoma, WA to parents Albert and Pauline (Maier) Dinger. Edith worked as a sales clerk at JC Penny and Rhoades Department Store. She graduated in 1939 from Lincoln Highschool in Tacoma, WA. Favorite past-times include golfing, bowling, hunting and fishing, crocheting and knitting. She was a member of Timberline Baptist Church for 30 years and helped with their financing, she also helped rocking the babies to sleep in the nursery. She had a hearty, sweet laugh and she was very meticulous on how she looked and dressed. She received her first driver license at 67 years old and even rode a quad in the Oregon Dunes at the age of 90! She is preceded in death by Pauline Dinger (Mother), Albert Dinger (Father), Dean Benson (Ex Spouse 1943) and Joseph Jones (Spouse1948) Ruth Powers (sister), Roger Dinger (brother). Edith is survived by; Son Richard (Donna) Benson, Grandchildren Tonya (John) Moser, Darren (Carrie) Benson, Jeremy Benson. Great grandchildren Tyler (Hannah) Moser, Kyle (Kayla) Moser, Austin (Sydney) Benson, Jadis (Jason) Lawrence, Ryan Benson, Kelsey Benson, Kambria McFarland. Great great grandchildren Lance Lawrence and Chloe Jo Moser. Friends and family will be received at at Timberline Baptist Church for a Celebration of Life, Saturday June 24, 2023 at 1pm.
