My condolences to Abe, Christopher, and Mathew. I know you were all very dear to Marilou. It has been awhile since I worked with her but she was so knowledgeable and on top of the cases of her patients. My heart aches.

Abe, Christopher and Michael, I am so sorry and shocked. I met Marilou at St Peter hospital in 1990 after she came back from maternity leave. Marilou and I haven't worked together in sometime but we kept up with each other. I absolutely loved and respected her. She was a wonderful person. Again I am so sorry for your loss. Kandy

I remember the day you came to the unit at St Pete’s, you were always so kind and an expert nurse. I remember so many great times. We continued to work together when you came to St Joes after me begging for years, so loved having you working with me again and then watching you work so hard while getting your NP. That trip to Miami, we had a blast and I will never ever forget you.

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Abe and The sons! Marilou was a very dedicated, passionate and knowledgeable nurse. I loved her humility and transparency. She thought me so much about Peritoneal dialysis. May The Lord grant you the fortitude to bear this loss and grant Marilou’s soul eternal peace.

Our deepest sympathy to the family on the passing of Marilou. May God give her eternal peace and the family the strength to bear the pain during these difficult times. My mother was Marilou’s godmother (Ninang). She spoke very highly of her. She had climbed many mountains, crossed many rivers, and never turned back. She followed her dreams and aspirations. I have nothing but great admiration for cousin Marilou - her love and care for her family, her determination to achieve her goals in life, her dedication to her job, work ethics, and passion. She left a lasting impact on those she left behind. Rest in peace, Lynne and Bill Thompson Coto de Caza, CA

Mary Lou was a very special person to me. I met her in Portland Oregon when I was rounding 2008 and found her to be the most empathetic and kind person who came with the dialysis background and understood the patience needs very well. I'm so indebted to her for all the support she gave me during my time with Franciscan in Tacoma. She pitched in to help me whenever there was a need. I see her as a dear sister from the past birth who spent some valuable time with me and made such an impact in my life even though it was brief. I learned a lot from her with regards to tolerance, respect for others irrespective of color or Creed and sincere expression of empathy in dealing with a difficult patient population. I wish I could have reached out to her at the last few months of her life to lend a shoulder to share her thoughts. I'll miss you dearly Ragu
