The last family owned funeral home in Thurston County.

Harold passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 25, 2022. He was born November 12, 1928 to Ira (Babe) and Mable Martin. He got married on June 3, 1951 to his forever love and they lived Olympia WA. They were married almost 70 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret and his parents Babe and Mable.

He is survived by his three children, Patrick (Sheryl) Martin, Marvin (Jayme) Martin, and Carla Martin; and grandsons, Jeremy (Jessica) Martin and Chad Martin.

He had a full life. He lived in the family home until he broke his hip, and moved to an adult family home for a short while.

He was in the army and drove a logging truck before he retired from Thurston county working on the roads. 

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping, dancing at the moose lodge, VFW, and sportsman’s club with his wife and their friends. He liked going to the casino.

He also loved watching the deer, rabbits, squirrels and other wildlife outside his house. 

He was loved and will be missed by many.
