John Dennis Tong of Elma Washington passed away suddenly at his home on January 29, 2024 at the age of 72.

John loved life and cherished his family and friends. He was a fun-loving guy who was fond of fishing at his favorite spot, Lake Quinault. He sure loved a good party, and was the best host at these parties. He was always taking care of his guests to make sure all were having a great time, which we all did. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He leaves behind his beloved partner Nancy of many years, daughters Rita Maldonado of New Jersey and Melissa Tong (John Hughes) of Olympia.

He was a grandfather to Isabella, Brandon and Justin and brother and brother-in-law to Bill (Cheryl) Tong, Catherine Brannam, Michael (Debra) Tong. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

It is comforting to know there is another angel watching over us. John was predeceased in death by his parents John Tongn and Eileen (Parshall) Tong, his daughter Sarah Tong and his sister Cinnamon Harp.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a private celebration of life at a later date.

He was a great man that laughed all the time, or at least had a smile on his face. He enjoyed time with his family and loved too party. Until we meet again...
