Sonja B. Loeser, 91 0f Olympia, Washington passed away on March 6 th at Providence St. Peter Hospital.

Sonja was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Camilla and Robert Bentzen. She joined the Air Force after

graduating high school where she became a staff sergeant. She spent her tour of duty mostly in Europe

and especially loved Paris.

Sonja married Wilfred R. Loeser in 1960. Over the course of their marriage, they lived in New Jersey,

Ohio, Puerto Rico, West Virginia and Florida.

Sonja moved to Bozeman, Montana in 1997 to be closer to her daughter, Jacqueline. She recently

moved to Olympia, Washington, where her daughter and son-in-law now reside.

Sonja is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Loeser, son-in-law, David Cowan and niece, Darlene

Rourke.
