Jamie Llewellyn Haywood, 72, recently of Yelm, WA, originally from Charleston, SC, passed away on 26 November 2022. She was predeceased by her daughter Chelsea and by her parents, James and Annie. She is survived by her daughters Katherine (Nicholas) and Margaret (Camelia), as well as her sisters Jacqueline, Judith, and Joan (Everett). After graduating from Chicora High School and Winthrop University, she worked in sleep labs on both coasts (including Medical University of South Carolina, Trident Hospital, Multicare Good Samaritan, and Seattle Children's Hospital) until her recent retirement. She was dearly loved and will be missed terribly by her family, her friends and co-workers, as well as by her beloved cats. A memorial service will be held in Charleston followed by a private inurnment. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in her honor to your local animal shelter, humane society, or food bank.
