Dalmacio Otrillo Gimenez

Dalmacio Otrillo Gimenez was born on January 1, 1931 in Barangay Cabuluan, Ballesteros, Cagayan, Philippines. He went home to Our Lord peacefully and was surrounded by his family on March 13, 2022, in Olympia, Washington. After living in the Philippines for 65 years as a farmer, he resided in the United States for another 26 years to accompany his daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren in both Hawaii and Washington. During his time in the States, he continued to make numerous trips back and forth to the Philippines. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, sewing, carpentry, cooking, writing letters, listening to instrumental jazz and Ilocano music, and watching action movies and TV shows.  He was survived by his wife Hermenia, daughter Erlinda, son-in-law Virgilio, grandchildren Chad, Paul, and Sophia, and great-grandchildren Joseph and Aria. He was preceded in death by his late wives Ana and Florencia, and his sisters Romana, Leonora, Maria, Felicia, and brother Alfonso.

The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lacey, Washington followed by a committal ceremony at Woodlawn cemetery at Lacey, Washington.
