Kathleen Marie Vogt, 70, of Olympia passed away at her daughter’s home on November 26,

2022. She was born in Tacoma WA on May 23, 1952 to Ethel and Ed Wheeling (deceased).

Kathy graduated from Yelm High School and worked at a nursery, Rainier School and

Department of Labor and Industries until retirement.

Kathy was a very quiet person and observed all that was around her. She loved her children

and grandchildren. She also loved working in her yard and tending to her flowers. She always

had a patio full of beautiful flowers.

She is survived by her daughter Dawn Slyter (Ryan) and grandchildren Felecia Hardy (Tyler),

Elaine Hacker (Kelsey), Gary Mann, Cody Mann, Chrissy Slyter and great grandchildren Luca

Hacker, Ruthie Hardy, Ellie Hardy, sisters Carol Sanborn, Martha Thomas, Sandra Elder and

brother Melvin Wheeling as well as many nieces and nephews. Her son, Gary Mann, preceded

her in death.

At this time there are no services planned.
