Mildred Martel, Olympia, Washington. "Millie" passed away on November 21, 2022, at Providence Mother Joseph Care Center, where she had been a resident for two years. 

Born in Dayton, Ohio, on December 15, 1928, to Charles Riggs and Celinda Syle. She lived to see her parents and all eight of her siblings pass. She was married to Lawerence "Larry" Martel, who died in 1965.

Millie spent her working life as a clerk and administrative assistant in Dayton. Her pride and joy in life were her son Michael, his wife, Simone, and her grandson, Nicholas. In 2001, Millie moved to Olympia, Washington, to be near her son and his family. She enjoyed reading and watching old movies.

Mother Millie will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
