The last family owned funeral home in Thurston County.

Passed away peacefully on June 8, 2022.  She was born on March 17, 1928, in Sioux City, Iowa to her parents John and Esther Ide.  She is predeceased by her husband Donald S. Martonik and by her brothers Raymond Ide and James Ide.  She is survived by her brother William Ide, sons Donald P. Martonik (Nicki) and James P. Martonik (Linda), her 5 grandchildren Mari Martonik, Phillip Martonik (Carrie), Caitlin Flood (Theri), Amy Russell (Ryan), Jami Peterson (Jason) and 7 great grandchildren, Ava, Blake, Cole, Savannah, Gabriel, Jasper and Tayah.  Patricia was a homemaker for most of her adult life however, she was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration for a short time in the late 50’s and mid 70’s.  Also, she was a nursing home administrator in the late 60’s to early 70’s.  In retirement she enjoyed traveling the world with her husband Donald of 70 years.  Patricia loved the game of baseball and was a dedicated Seattle Mariners fan.  

Services will be coordinated by Woodlawn Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Michael Catholic Church on Thursday, July 7th at 12:00 noon.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patricia’s name to the RP Foundation for Fighting Blindness.
