October 18, 1950 - February 13, 2022

Linda (Davis) Dixon, with loving members of her family by her bedside, peacefully passed away in the early morning hours of February 13th, 2022 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Linda was born in Bozeman, MT on October 18th, 1950 but lived the majority of her life in the Dixon family home in Lacey, Wa.

When she was 19 and living in Aberdeen, Wa, Linda met, fell in love with and married her one true love, John Dixon.  They were married for 51 years and had two loving daughters, Wendy and Kelly Jo Dixon.  Linda worked many years for the North Thurston School District as a cook (lunch lady).

Linda and John enjoyed attending years and years of Rod Runs together, along with anything involving their hot rod and classic car collection.  They were inseparable and loved their time antiquing, traveling and especially spending time at their “happy place” at Ocean Shores with friends and family.  Family meant everything to Linda and she lovingly took every opportunity to spend time with her four grandchildren, Johnny, Charlize, Danika and Sofia.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Lois Davis and her brother Bob Davis Jr.  She is survived by her husband John, daughters Wendy Dixon-Ross of Lacey and Kelly Jo Dixon (Brian) of Lacey, as well as the four grandchildren that she adored, Johnny, Charlize, Danika and Sofia.  Linda is also survived by her sister Tana Loessberg (Dave) of Stevensville, Mt., brothers John Davis of Belgrade Mt. and Glen Davis of Laurel, MT.   Sisters in law, Laurie Davis of Helena Mt., Karen Hassa of Maple Valley, Wa., Patricia DeBow of Portland, Or. and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family would donations made to the Colon Cancer Coalition www.coloncanercoalition.org
