SUSAN P. CHARAN

Dearest Susan P. Charan, age 70, passed away November 29, 2021 at 5:11 in the evening, during a one day stay in St. Peter's Hospital of Lacey, WA. Her husband, S. Patrick Charan (Suresh), also passed away one week later, December 6, 2021 at 5:25 in the evening, during a one week stay at Capitol Medical Center of Olympia, WA. They were affectionately paired in life and in death as well, no matter the difficult or easy season of life. They've reached glorious heaven's beautiful shore, to their Maker and living GOD they loved so dearly and lived for so sincerely all their lives.

Susan was born named Susanna but the family priest at the time mistakenly wrote in Susamma (soo-some-ma) which is a common name in the area they lived in, so the name stayed. During her lifetime she was called Susamma, Shanthi, Shanthan, and mostly Susan. She was born in Edathua, Kerala of southern India on July 31, 1951. She was the fourth child of five children, and the second and youngest daughter of Pothen Philip Pallathil and Mary “Gracie” Mathew.

Upto her homecalling to heaven, she lived with her husband of 37 years, daughter, and son-in-law (whom she loved as her son). Her firstborn child, had passed at birth 36 years prior and both Susan & Patrick have now met him and many other dear ones who learned of, believed, and loved the Kingdom of the Maker of heaven and earth and every human soul.

She is survived by: her one married daughter, Dawn Grace; her two older brothers, Philip and Mathew, her youngest brother, Tom (Thomas), and her only older sister, Molly- all in Texas.
