Diane passed away peacefully in her home in Lacey, Washington on March 29,

2023. She recently celebrated her 90 th birthday with friends and family. Born and

raised in Seattle, Diane received a bachelor’s degree from Seattle University.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Katherine (John) McKean and two

grandchildren Gabriel (Michelle) and Sean. She also leaves behind two brothers,

Michael (Patricia Megason) Tollefson and Karl (Megan) Tollefson and niece and

nephews. Diane was predeceased by her husband Fred Dick.

Diane enjoyed traveling the world, but her favorite remained the ocean –

spending many holidays at the beach in Lincoln City, Oregon and celebrating her

birthdays in Ocean Shores, Washington.

Diane enjoyed and appreciated her many friends at Jubilee in Lacey, Washington.

A Funeral Mass will be held on May 1 st at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic

Church in Lacey. Immediately following Mass, there will be a reception in Hallen

Hall. A private interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Seattle.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Sacred Heart Parish,

Catholic Relief Services, or Heifer’s International.
