Brandon Casey Covert

Brandon, 20 years young, passed away suddenly and tragically on the night of November 5^th, 2021, in Pierce County, Washington due to a motorcycle collision. He passed away doing something he loved to do.

He was born on February 7, 2001 in Altanta, Texas. He lived in Texarkana, Texas, where he was going to Texas High School. While still in high school, he moved with his mother and sisters to Tumwater, Washington. He went to River Ridge High School for a time after moving to Washington.

Brandon loved riding his motorcycle and exploring Washington on his motorcycle with his friends. He was always looking for a way to have fun at everything he did. He was on the swim team in high school, and really enjoyed competing with other schools and himself. He was into physical fitness and kept himself in shape. He was very smart and loved a good game of chess. He also taught himself how to ride skateboard and do tricks.

Brandon was so smart and hilarious, he could make you laugh when you were mad or sad. Just being around him brought everyone so much joy and happiness. He was one of the nicest people you would ever meet. He was always making jokes and being a prankster. Brandon loved his family and always was a Momma’s boy. He was very protective of his sisters and Mom. He loved his animals, and worked as an animal caretaker.

He is survived by his mother and step-father Tina and Dorri Wright; his father Mike; four sisters Emily, Brooklynn, Isabella, and Gabriella; aunt Naomi; and his grandfather, Kirk Covert. He is preceded in death by his uncle Tony, grandmother Linda, and great-grandmother Mary Lou Covert, great uncle Jim, and great-grandfather J.A. Covert.

Celebration of Brandon’s Life will be Friday, November 19^th, 2021 at 12pm, at Woodlawn Funeral Home (5930 Mullen Road SE, Lacey WA 98503)
